Do you know someone who would like to become an interpreter?

Multicultural NSW has launched a pilot program offering fully funded scholarships for people who speak certain priority languages to participate in an interpreter training course at TAFE NSW.
The program is offered to people who meet the eligibility requirements and speak Assyrian, Burmese, Chaldean, Kirundi, Khmer, Kurmanji Kurdish, Nepalese, Tamil, Tibetan, Tigrinya, Tongan, Pashto, Rohingya, Samoan, Somali, Italian, Greek, Maltese, Mongolian, Thai and Vietnamese.
Course graduates will be eligible to become Recognised Practising Interpreters with the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters.
